Labor and employment law continued to evolve across a number of different fronts in 2017 during and after the transition to a new administration, and the same is likely to continue throughout 2018. Ongoing uncertainties continue to impact employers as laws and regulations continue to change, particularly when it comes to issues such as the ACA employer mandate, FLSA requirements, the EEOC’s strategies and enforcement agenda, new OFCCP regulations and requirements, and a number of other areas. Put it all together and 2018 promises to bring more changes by federal, state, and local agencies that will impact employers and challenge management, counsel, and human resources professionals to continue to adapt in order to stay in compliance. Getting an early heads up as to what is coming down the road in 2018 will be important for you and your employer as you strive to meet the new management and HR compliance challenges head on, thus reducing the chances that you’ll face additional risks, be out of compliance, or exposed to greater potential liability.

Please join C.R. Wright, a partner at Fisher Phillips, as he provides analysis and guidance relating to the ongoing and new compliance challenges you will be dealing with throughout 2018, and helps you to understand the key points not to be overlooked when facing these new requirements.
