Employee engagement is about building an environment where employees are fully absorbed by their work, enthusiastic about achieving their goals, and consistently take action to further the organization. A fully engaged employee is willing to go the extra mile because she cares about the organization’s well-being. He puts his entire mind, body and soul into work when he’s on the clock. Creating an environment in which employees are positively engaged to the benefit of the organization requires strong commitment and partnership between the employer and employees. However, creating such a culture can be challenging, and taking the wrong steps to improve employee engagement could be counterproductive or have a negative effect on employee trust, morale, and satisfaction. Therefore, it is imperative that companies looking to strengthen their employee engagement efforts do so in a manner that allows employees and their efforts to succeed.

Please join Catherine Mattice as she provides insight into true employee engagement, and offers seven areas of focus and action items for building a strategic plan to increase employee engagement.

Just a sampling of what this webinar will cover:

  • The three facets of employee engagement
  • The seven areas every expert says you have to focus on to build engagement
  • Creating an employee engagement survey
  • Injecting onboarding programs with items that build engagement
  • Ensuring employees feel valued
  • Driving positive and healthy relationships among employees, managers and leaders
  • Creating the right kind of environment so employees, and thus engagement, can thrive
  • Offering challenge and professional development regularly for employees, and rewarding successes
